Financial Planning
Financial planning involves identifying your long-term goals, understanding your risk tolerance and cash flow needs, and then creating a plan that addresses all these concerns and charts a path to provide the future you want. My holistic approach encompasses everything you need to be financially successful – portfolio management, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance and taxes, and anything else that will enhance your financial wellbeing.
My process begins with understanding who you are and what’s important to you. Far more than a simple Q&A, we truly get to know you – your values, hopes and concerns. We’ll engage in a conversation about your current financial situation, your priorities and your vision for the future.
It’s important to understand that financial planning is different from financial advice. While I am always happy to provide advice about investments and strategies to my clients, a financial plan is a long-term guideline that uses every tool available in order to craft the financial future you seek.
As critical as investment management is, it's only one piece of a much bigger picture. With holistic planning, where the advisor and client are focused on every aspect of your financial future, investment strategy can be seen as the engine that is required to fuel your journey – but it’s not the journey itself.
Wherever You Are in Your Journey
Many of my clients come in with a solid grasp of their financial status. They know what they need but may be unsure of the steps that can get them there. Or maybe they are entering retirement and are ready for someone else to take the reins of their finances so they no longer have to deal with the complexity and work involved. Or they want to involve their children in their long-term legacy and estate planning.
No matter where you are in your journey, our financial planning process can be adapted to serve your needs.
